I stumbled across this prayer I wrote in my journal on December 27 2009. I enjoyed it as I read it and felt it was worth sharing
Missions isn’t seasonal, its moment to moment. Missions isn’t a mind set but it’s a life style. Missions isn’t optional but it’s natural as we seek the face of the Christ whom we serve. Living missionally will cause fear and worry. It will cost us everything as we wholly surrender.
But what good is it to gain the world if we loose our souls along the way? What good is it to chase our dreams and desires if it costs us our salvation? What good is it to run down my path when its the path that leads me to hell.
We celebrate the birth, life, ministry, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ because he offers us a life worth living, dreams worth dreaming, and paths worth traveling. Praise your name Jesus! Praise.Your.Name
